Internet: Bane of my life

The Internet is the worst thing to have been invented. Ever. It saps away all the hours of my day, and not even in a useful manner. It doesn't add to my productivity one bit, and the simple task of looking up flow cytometry has somehow turned into an hour of reading through people's comments on various websites and replying to their stupidity. By the way, that's another bad point of the 'net - it allows people whose voices wouldn't otherwise be heard the ability to shout their incredibly misguided nonsense.

On the Internet, even a medical student can be subjected to a lecture about Rhesus disease - delivered by someone who barely understands it themselves. Gotta love it...

Maybe I just need to exercise a bit more self-restraint and just read textbooks non-stop for the next week.

  1. Hi, I had that problem in the past.

What I did was to download free apps that limit the number of tabs I can open in an Internet Browser +/- daily time limit before compulsory internet blocking (for rest of the day).
